Dr. Plashan McCune

Dr. Plashan McCune is the author of Trauma and Postsecondary Success a Framework for Systemic Change. She is the former Senior Advisor for Trauma-Informed Practices for Denver Public Schools. She is a National Board Certified Mental Health Counselor and has worked in criminal justice, social services and education. Her roles have included: A juvenile detention officer, foster care case manager, teacher, school counselor, assistant principal, principal and district administrator.

The Author/Instructor is passionate about providing tools for educators and communities to support learning despite the impact of trauma.
